About Us

The history of Rehoboth Pentecostal Ministries goes back to 1992 when Pastor Jeffrey Lane was called into the ministry. Though he did not know then that he would plant and pastor this church, he knew that his calling would reach the lost and broken. Though the 16 years prior to him starting the church were indeed difficult, he knew that God was forming in him the character, integrity and wisdom he would need to be a courageous leader, not afraid to face the daunting task of pastoring lives.

Through many prayers, fasting and seeking the will of God over 4 years, the Lord gave Pastor Lane an experience where he encountered the Lord as he was in prayer one morning. After a final 18-month consecration period, the will of God settled in the heart of Pastor Lane and steps to form the church were made in 2008. Light of Hope Deliverance Fellowship incorporated in 2008 as a nonprofit religious organization to meet the needs of the souls through worship services, teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, prayer, fellowship and community outreach. In October of 2008, Rev. Lane was installed as Senior Pastor of Light of Hope Deliverance Fellowship Inc. He is the Chief Steward of the ministry and Leader according to the Holy Scriptures. By his side stands Pastor Tamara Lane who is assisting him in birthing souls and building ministry.

By the revelation of the Spirit, the Lord has birthed the ministry with fresh vision. In 2020, the name of the church was changed to better reflect the calling and vision. The original revelation of Circle of Churches which the Lord gave Pastor Lane many years prior is producing a fellowship of churches across the country that is ever growing.

The Lord has blessed Rehoboth Pentecostal Ministries to birth many hard-working believers to hold up the arms of the Pastors. Through diligence and steadfastness, the ministry is reaching souls and lives with the preached Word and prayer.

Since our founding, our ministry has been housed in several locations, including 410 W. Grand Blvd in Detroit and 6908 Fort Street in Detroit. In May 2012, the Lord blessed our church to purchase a forever home at 555 Beechwood Street in River Rouge, Michigan. We have been a welcomed as part of the River Rouge community by the Mayor, City Council, and community leaders at large. We have been embraced and encouraged by those around us.

God has blessed us with miracles in finance and facilities. We honor Him by pursuing our purpose through Love Inc. Outreach. The transforming power of God is being witnessed daily through spiritual development, natural application, and social involvement. It is our goal to remain focused on our God-given mission; reaching the whole man, one soul at a time.
